It’s been a year since my last post, which is the number one thing you don’t do if you have a blog!  But, before you judge me, let me defend myself because I have a very good excuse. Last year at this time, I had an in-home accident involving a puppy gate and stairs that totally impacted everything I have done since then.  In a word, you could say I’ve been benched!  Anyway, I am happy to report that I am well and back on track!  Below are some fabulous benches for you in honor of the time I lost the fight with the puppy gate and stairs. Lately, I have been a little obsessed with the richness of emerald green. I haven’t had a “green” client yet, so I will just have to covet the looks others are getting to create. When I was going into the seventh grade (so many moons ago), I remember my mom taking me to get clothes for the upcoming school year. She was taken aback that everything I selected had black in it, black and white, black and pink, black and red, but she decided that I would outgrow it. And, to be clear, this wasn’t like a “goth” stage because that hadn’t even been established as a style during this time, nor was it the “thing” to wear so much black. I just liked it.

Today is the first day of December and I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed. I have always loved this month because it holds great memories and traditions for me. I grew up in east Tennessee, where I enjoyed the snow... I find that neutral/white interiors have this same impact because even with the same color being used throughout, the textures and finishes create real depth that is beautiful.
